MADICLUBDiscover Mad Scienist: Breaking Beakers - Hold&Win, a slot from BetSoft you can play at Madison Casino, Belgium's online casino. It runs at very high volatility. The game leans into a lively laboratory theme with a strong jackpot focus and a punchy, high-risk profile. It pairs 10 paylines with very high volatility, so the action can feel quiet for stretches before bonus moments reshape the reels. With stakes from EUR 0.1 to EUR 4.0, it suits both cautious sessions and bolder spins.
Choose a stake within the EUR 0.1 to EUR 4.0 range and launch a spin. The base game pays across 10 paylines, so the aim is to land matching symbols on active lines while keeping an eye on special feature symbols and bonus-triggering moments. Because volatility is very high, bankroll control matters: smaller stakes can help you stay in the game longer while you wait for feature-driven bursts of action.
Winning returns come from matching symbols across the game’s 10 paylines, while the special features create the bigger momentum shifts. Wilds can stand in for other paying symbols to help complete combinations, and expanding behaviour can widen their impact on the reels. The Hold & Win and Jackpot elements add another layer of prize potential, while very high volatility means results are geared towards less frequent but more dramatic swings.
Mad Scienist: Breaking Beakers - Hold&Win is built around its paying symbols and a set of bonus mechanics that drive its biggest wins. Here is how each feature works.
A Wild substitutes for other paying symbols on the reels, helping complete winning combinations that might otherwise miss by one position. That makes ordinary spins more flexible and can turn near-misses into returns. When Wilds appear alongside other modifiers, they can also strengthen the value of a spin by supporting several winning lines at once.
Respins give you another immediate chance to improve the result without moving on to a completely new sequence of play. They keep the action focused on building from a promising screen, which can increase tension when key symbols are already in place. For the player, that means extra opportunities to add value from a single feature-triggered moment.
Hold & Win locks qualifying symbols in place and gives a series of respins to fill more positions with additional prize symbols. Each new qualifying symbol resets the respin count, extending the feature and building suspense with every successful land. This mechanic shifts the game from line-based wins to a collection-style bonus where each added symbol can raise the total return.
The Jackpot feature adds access to a larger fixed prize within the bonus structure of the game. It gives certain feature outcomes extra weight because one successful trigger can lead beyond standard line wins into a more valuable reward layer. As this is not progressive, the jackpot remains part of the game’s built-in prize model rather than a pooled total growing over time.
An Expanding symbol grows to cover extra positions on the reels and increases the amount of reel space it controls. When that expanding symbol is also helping with substitutions or line completion, it can create several winning connections from a single landing. For the player, it means stronger reel coverage and a better chance of turning one useful symbol into a broader payout setup.
The presentation points straight at a playful science-lab setting, with beakers, experiments and a slightly chaotic energy that suits the title well. Expect bright colours, animated reel movement and feature moments designed to feel like a reaction chain in the lab. That theme works especially well with expanding symbols and hold-style bonus action, giving the game a busier, more eventful feel when special rounds kick in.
The demo version is a practical way to explore the game’s pace, volatility and feature flow before playing with real money. You can see how the 10-payline setup feels, how often special symbols shape a spin, and how the Hold & Win structure changes the rhythm when it arrives. It is especially useful here because very high volatility can make the balance between quieter stretches and feature-led action more noticeable.
